Player to Buy – Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang – (£11.0)
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been on an absolute tear all season long. We all know his abilities as a striker, but he keeps proving that his age isn’t a factor when it comes to his production.
He’s tallied 7 goals and 1 assist, providing a return in all 7 GW’s. Only Callum Wilson and Sergio Aguero have done the same so far this year.
The Gabonese international is the focus each time Arsenal carry the ball up the pitch and with Lacazette out of the line-up for another few weeks, Auba is the main threat for the Gunners.
Arsenal are starting to develop chemistry on the pitch and, better yet, are expecting to have Bellerin and Tierney back from injury in the next week. Further establishing there true starting 11.
He does come at a hefty £11.0, but his form is off the charts at the moment and with a great run of fixtures coming up, you would be crazy not to add him to your squad.

Honorable mentions – Ricardo Pereira (£6.1) & Callum Wilson (£7.9)
Player to Sell – Virgil van Dijk (£6.5)
It’s clear to see that after 7 games Liverpool, as a defensive unit, are not as strong as last season. Maybe it’s due to Allison being injured, or maybe teams have begun to figure them out, either way I think it’s about time we let go of VVD.
The fact that Liverpool has only held 2 clean sheets all year is an indicator that things are a little less tight for the back line. VVD is the glue that keeps them together, but an important component to choosing defenders in FPL is there clean sheet potential. So far, Liverpool have struggled by allowing goals to Norwich, Southampton, and Newcastle, including 3 at home to Austrian outfit FC Salzburg.
The price doesn’t justify owning VVD. Other options are available so you can use that extra cash to upgrade a midfielder or forward. For example, Tomori for Chelsea is a much cheaper option and have a wonderful run of fixtures.
Meanwhile, Liverpool’s next 4 of 5 matches are difficult. I suggest transferring VVD out for the time being, at least until fixtures become more appealing.

Honourable mention – Ashley Barnes (£6.6)
Player to Hold – Teemu Puuki (£7.2)
Teemu Pukki has been scoreless in his last 2 games and FPL managers are certain that his hot start to the season was mere luck. I beg to differ…
Pukki has 6 goals and 2 assists so far this season. He currently ranks 1st in shots on target, 4th in total shots, and 4th in goals amongst the entire EPL. He has blanked in 3 games, all of which were away matches.
His form at home, however, is superb. Pukki has scored 5 of his 6 goals at Carrow Road and 2 of those were against Chelsea and, an unforgettable game against, Manchester City.

Hold on to Pukki this weekend as Norwich host Aston Villa. Rest assured that goals will come aplenty and I predict Pukki is on the end of at least one of those goals.
Honourable mention – Mason Mount (£6.7) & Pepe (£9.3)
